Cheap, effective Moxon Beam Antenna for 10 , 11, 12 meters

The antenna design popularized by the late Les Moxon (G6XN) is quite popular with radio amateurs on the higher HF bands (20 meters through 10 meters).

In this video from Colin (MM0OPX), we get a thorough introduction to the theory behind the Moxon Antenna, as well as practical suggestions on building this outstanding HF antenna.

Colin also supplies a parts list for this antenna.

Here are a few comments from Colin (MM0OPX):

Apologies for the video quality, my computer is creaking at the seams while rendering. This is an overview of my 10m Moxon project. This can easily be adapted for use on 12m or 11m. Here is the link to the bill of materials for this project - note I am still adding to this so please check back. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... Here is a link to the tube drilling jig I used https://www.amazon.co.uk/Centering-Do... Thanks to Max Mountain World for lots of inspiration, please subscibe as Max makes lots of good Moxon videos. Here is a link to his video that I got the idea of pinning the tubes together.    • 11m. Moxon Fast-Build ~ How Long Does...
