This post 2553 in a continuing series of simple ham radio antennas.

This is part two of "The Doublet Antenna Experiment" from Kevin Loughnin (KB9RLW).

In part one, Kevin designs, builds, and tests his new HF doublet antenna.

In part two, Kevin takes the antenna to the "field" and begins a few QSOs.  The results are quite good.

Here are some comments from Kevin:

Thoughts and observations after using the doublet for awhile. Plus a couple of QSOs, one of which was stellar. Original design and build video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA4lo...
