Ham Radio: The Coat Hanger Antenna 2m/70cm dipole.

If you have some unused metal coat hangers in your closet, you can convert some of them into simple, efficient antennas for the 2m/70cm amateur radio bands.

In this video, Tim (M0MSN) combines two metal coat hangers and a few spare parts from his ham shack to create a remarkably efficient, almost-zero cost dipole for amateur radio VHF/UHF bands.

Just follow Tim's clear, concise instructions, and, in no time, you'll have a basic 2m/70cm antenna suitable for both field and  home use.

Here are a few comments from Tim (M0MSN):

A really quick antenna for 2 metres and 70 centimetres, made from just 2 metal coat hangers and a small length of strip connector just add the fun. Next time coax traps on the DX commander I do hope you enjoy it and subscribe for more.. Many thanks Mike - M0MSN To get notified of the next upload .click that bell and subscribe..
