An L-match antenna coupler with no variable capacitor

Here's an interesting antenna "coupler" ("tuner") idea from Australian radio amateur Peter Parker (VK3YE).  

According to Peter, this basic L-"tuner" doesn't require a variable capacitor.

Here are some of Peter's comments:

Variable capacitors can sometimes be hard to find. Especially during this time of lockdown with all hamfests cancelled.
