Here's great project for those wanting a separate receive antenna for both Amateur Radio and general shortwave listening.  The antenna covers 5 MHz to 14 MHz--enough flexibility to include all amateur radio bands between 60 meters and 20 meters.

This antenna is simple, cost effective, compact, and suitable for indoor operation. The addition of a classic Hallicrafters S-38 receiver rounds out an excellently produced video.
