Vertical Antennas for 160 Meters/CQ 160 Contest SSB

MoreGain 5 band Ham Radio Dipole Antenna

Here's an interesting multiband, no "tuner" required, HF antenna for radio amateurs. Thanks to "Sky 1" for this start-to-finish project using the "MoreGain 5 Band Ham Radio Dipole Antenna." The antenna is a 5-band "Fan Dipole" covering the 10m, 15m, 20m, 40m, and 75m Amateur Radio Bands.  The kit assembles quickly and doesn't require the use of a transmatch (i.e. "tuner"). Ham Radio-Coat Hanger Antenna 2m/70cm dipole

If you need an emergency antenna for the 2m/70 cm Amateur Radio Bands, look no further than your bedroom closet.  Any of those metal clothes hangers will do nicely for an impromptu VHF/UHF antenna. My simple and cheap Antenna Mast and antenna installation

Building an antenna mast doesn't have to cost you a fortune, especially if local materials and bit of your time are available. Matthew Sherburne (KF4WZB) has done an exhaustive study on Military Radio Antennas and their application to Amateur Radio.
