The L.O.G. (Loop On Ground) Antenna

If your location is plagued by RFI or other noise sources, you may want to try this L.O.G. (Ground On Loop) receive antenna from Nick (M0NTV).

The antenna is inexpensive and easy-to-make.

Nick shows us how to build an easy ground-on-loop antenna that will reduce the noise fatigue common in many urban locations.

In this video, Nick discusses his experiences of building, testing, and using a variety of L.O.G. receive antennas.

While the antenna can be used for short-range transmissions, its primary focus is to enhance "quiet" reception of radio signals.
