This is post 2513 in a continuing series of simple ham radio antennas.

Every radio amateur should have emergency antennas for the HF, VHF, and UHF bands.

As Kevin Loughin (KB9RLW) points out, this antenna is probably "hidden" in your "junk box", just waiting to be assembled.
