The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and many smaller Caribbean Islands have been devastated by Hurricane Maria.  Although relief aid is arriving in this area, many smaller islands, including Puerto Rico, are facing dire shortages of water, electricity, medical aid, shelter, and communications. ARRL President Rick Roderick (K6UR) has taken the rare step of appealing to the Amateur Radio Community, whether they be ARRL members or not, to support ongoing relief efforts in Puerto Rico.
