I made a short 80m dipole-linear loading

Another way to "squeeze" an 80 meter dipole on a small urban lot is to use linear loading to reduce the overall length of a half wave dipole antenna. In this video, Callum (M0MCX) explains the theoretical and practical applications of linear loaded dipole antennas and shows us how to design and build such antennas. Here are some comments from Callum (M0MCX): Dipole legs are normally just under 25% for each dipole leg (depends on height above ground) but you can shorten this to between 16-18% by loading it up in a linear fashion. Tom (M0RMY) and I made one. Let's show you how we got on. Callum, M0MCX. DX Commander #dipole #80m #linearloading ----- Thanks for joining us today. Aloha es 73 de Russ (KH6JRM).
