Ham Radio: Simple DX Antenna For 10 Metres.

Now that Solar Cycle 25 is opening the upper HF amateur radio bands, now may be the ideal time to explore the challenges and rewards of the 10 meter band.

In this video from Tim (G5TM), we learn how to design, build, test, and use a halfwave vertical antenna for the 10 meter band.

As Tim suggests, this simple antenna occupies a very small space and doesn't require a radial or counterpoise system.

Here are a few comments from Tim (G5TM):

Very easy to build. Small footprint and no radials needed. What’s not to like about a Halfwave vertical? Great for DX as this video shows!
