Thanks to Cory (N0ECK) for this quick look at a fan dipole antenna that covers 40-80-160 meters.  If you have a tall tree or other tall support on your property, you may want to try Cory's antenna idea. Cory says he's pleased with the results of this multiband HF antenna. Here are some of his observations: I finally finished the video for the Fan Vertical I put up before the 2015-2016 contest season started. It did very well for the whole winter on 40, 80, and 160 meters. Join the resistance on Twitter: https://twitter.com/resistancehams Or Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/resis... Thanks to "Ham Radio 2.0" for this simple, easily understood tutorial on Earth-Moon-Earth (EME) communication using a small dish antenna.  Rex Moncur (VK7MO) does an excellent job of explaining the theory and practice of EME contacts. Here some additional remarks from "Ham Radio 2.0": Ham Radio EME with a Portable, Small Dish - EME is Earth-Moon-Earth, basically bouncing a signal off of the moon for communications. In this video Rex, VK7MO, shows us his small and portable setup with a dish for Ham Radio communications. https://www.microwaveupdate.org ★★★ KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING★★★ SUBSCRIBE for more Ham Radio video: https://goo.gl/6hjh2J Checkout my WEBSITE: https://livefromthehamshack.tv PATREON: https://goo.gl/FkESU6 📜 Be sure to support

Here are some program notes from video: Jim Heath W6LG shows his newly installed antenna and tower at his residence. The tower has a maximum height of 30 feet as restricted by Placer County Ordinances as show in the County General Plan and adopted by the City Rocklin. The tower rotates because it sits on a thrust bearing. The antenna system is designed to provide emergency communications when used by Federally Licensed Amateur Radio Operators. Jim during the last 56 years on the air has helped in emergencies several times. He has been
