Build a random wire end fed antenna and make amazing contacts.

A non-resonant random length wire end fed antenna is one of the simplest and easiest to use HF antennas in the radio amateur's toolbox.  The key to this outstanding antenna is the use of a homemade 9:1 balun inserted between your feed line and the antenna.

Michael Martens (KB9VBR) takes us step-by-step through the design, building, testing, and use of this basic ham radio antenna.
