The PREDator-Portable Resonant Elevated Directional Antenna

Here's an interesting HF vertical antenna for those with limited space for antennas.

Simon (VA7BIX) does a good job of explaining the theoretical and practical aspects of this intriguing antenna.  This antenna can be used for both home and filed operations.

Here are some comments from Simon (VA7BIX):

This has to be the greatest vertical antenna in the history of the world! It blew the hamstick out of the water. I would love to see it side by side the WRC! Thanks to Greg KJ6ER for the blueprint of this incredible discovery buddy. The PREDator rocks the portable antenna world. 5 watts when the bands were crappy, and I made contact to Maryland - 2200 miles away, and my 2 heroes of ham radio; Greg KJ6ER and Mike K8MRD!
