How to add a slim jim antenna to an HF multiband vertical

Here's another great idea for your next ARRL Field Day Antenna.

According to Steve Payne (W0KNI), it doesn't take much effort to add a 2m/70cm "slim jim" antenna to your multiband HF vertical antenna.

With this antenna modification, you can get coverage from 40 meters through 70 cm in one antenna.

Here are some comments from Steve (W0KNI):

n this video we’ll build a Slim Jim 2m/70cm antenna from a piece of 300 Ohm ladder line, then design a custom 3D part from scratch using FreeCAD and complete the printing with an Ender 3 Pro printer. Finally, we’ll add this light-weight antenna to my DIY Multiband vertical antenna system, further expanding its capabilities. So stay tuned!
