This video explains how to build a Delta Loop antenna and a Q-Match for it. The Q-Match will make the antenna resonant at 50 ohms at the feedpoint. This eliminates having to buy an expensive balun. The Delta Loop is bi-directional and has some gain. It is compact, easy to construct and inexpensive. You may already have all the components lying around. Good luck.
