This is post 2687 in a continuing series of simple ham radio antennas.

If you need a simple, multiband HF antenna, please consider this inverted L design from "Radio Axe."

According to "Broadcast Belgium" (https://www.broadcast.be), "The inverted L antenna is simple and easy to build...the radiation pattern is asymmetrical with about 1 to 2 dB in the direction of the horizontal wire."

The inverted L is good for locations with limited vertical space.  As with all vertical antennas, the inverted L needs a good ground radial or counterpoise system.

Thanks for joining us today.
