The ARRL Field Day occurs on the last full weekend of June.  As many as 40,000 radio amateurs will "take to the field" to test their emergency operating skills. The key to Field Day success is preparation.  Before you embark on this exercise, be sure you have a functioning "go-kit" and basic survival supplies packed in your vehicle.
