Thanks to "SurvicalComms" for this ultra-simple VHF (2 meter) J-Pole Antenna. All you need are a few basic tools, 5-feet (1.52 m) of 450 ohm ladder line, duct tape, soldering iron, and 10-feet (3.04 m) of RG-58 coaxial cable to begin the project.  A nice, inexpensive portable VHF antenna for both home and field use. Here are some general comment from the author: In this video I detail construction of a classic DIY antenna using 5' of 450 ohm window line (ladder line), 10' of RG58 coax w/bnc, a leatherman tool, duct tape, and a soldering iron w/flux and solder). Antenna is a 1/2 wave vertically polarized end fed design with a 1/4 wave matching section. Have fun ! ----- Thanks for joining us today. Aloha es 73 de Russ (KH6JRM).
