Ultimate Guide: How to install radials for vertical antennas.

A key component of any HF quarter wave vertical antenna is a good radial or counterpoise system.  A ground radial system improves the efficiency, take-off angle, and SWR of vertical antennas.

In this video from Callum (M0MCX), we see how this often, time-consuming "chore" can be done with a minimum of cost and effort.

You can find most of the materials required for this antenna project at the nearest building supply store.

Here are some comments from Callum (M0MCX):

This is how I've installed 32 radials for my vertical in the back yard - I've done mine now and I'm very pleased with the result. Callum.
