Switchable Vee Antennas on a single pole.


 One of the popular QRP HF antennas is the versatile "Vee Antenna."

In this video, Australian radio amateur Peter Parker (VK3YE) shows us how to add some directivity to a Vee Antenna by simply switching two inverted vee antennas into difference directions.

This simple procedure adds some directivity to the antenna system without resorting to cumbersome rotators or other mechanical devices.

Beams and rotators are normally too heavy for portable QRPers but there are alternatives. Today I try a pair of switchable end-fed inverted vees.
