Vertical extended double zepp antenna for 2 metres FM.

Here's another great antenna idea from Australia's Peter Parker (VK3YE)--a vertical double zepp antenna for 2 metres FM.

According to Peter, this design is omidirectional and can hit distant repeaters with ease.  As a bonus, this antenna can be used on the 6 meter Amateur Radio Band.

This antenna is easy-to-build and uses locally available materials.

Here are some comments from Peter (VK3YE):

A very simple but very good omnidirectional vertical antenna for VHF FM simplex and repeaters. But that's not all. What is it? It's a extended double zepp antenna for 2m. And it does 6m as well. Watch to find out how easy one is to build. PS: If you liked this video please consider supporting Amateur Radio VK3YE by: (then if you buy something I'll get a small commission at no cost to you)
