5/8 Wave Vertical Antenna for 10 Meters.


 If you want to increase the performance of your 10 meter band vertical antenna, try this project from Walt (K4OGO).

This antenna is easy-to-build, inexpensive, and perfect for field operations such as POTA and SOTA.  The 5/8 wavelength design could produce as much as 3dB gain over a 1/4 wavelength vertical antenna.  

This antenna will prove useful during this year's ARRL Field Day Event on the last full weekend of June.
