The best vertical antenna for your POTA Activation.

According to Stuart (VE9CF), the Diamond BB7V "is the best vertical antenna for your POTA activation."

In this video, Stuart puts the fairly expensive BB7V through a series of field tests to determine its suitablility for portable operations.

The antenna does an excellent job of making contacts in a POTA/SOTA environment.  The antenna is sturdy and will stand up in remote locations.

If you don't want "to roll your own" POTA antenna, the Diamond BB7V would be a good choice.
