The Eggbeater Antenna.
Here's a "classic" antenna you can use to eommunicate with Amateur Radio satellites or to monitor various weather/navigation satellites.
In this bare-bones video, John Marranca, Jr. (KB2HSH) lists the simple steps and materials needed to build an "eggbeater" antenna. The finished product bears an uncanny resemblance an old manual eggbeater common in many homes 50 or more years ago.
Many years ago, radio amateurs modified this design to work the 10 meter amateur radio band.
Why not build an "eggbeater" and experiment with this fascinating antenna?
