How to build your own Frame-Antenna.
If you are experiencing lots of noise at your home station, please consider building a receive antenna patterned after the "classic" Frame-Antenna. This LF and MW receive antenna has been popular for over 8 decades, and sucessfully "notches out" noise and other RF problems.
In this video, Roger of KainkaLabs shows us how to assemble this easily-made antenna kit.
Years ago, I built a similar antenna to select my favorite MW AM broadcast station in a city populated by numerous, high-powered radio stations.
You can modify this antenna to work on the amateur radio bands at a modest cost.
An excellent project for the weekend...your ears will thank you.
