This is post 2280 in a continuing series of simple ham radio antennas.

Thanks to John (KB2HSH) for  a trip down memory lane with the "Eggbeater Antenna."  I remember many radio amateurs using this design to receive the down link for some of the early amateur radio satellites.

This antenna is an excellent, easily-made omni-directional antenna for both home and portable us.

John does an excellent job of explaining the materials, assembly, and testing of this near-"classic" antenna.
