Here's another simple, quickly made satellite antenna suitable for use at the upcoming ARRL Field Day or at your home station.

In this video, the "Amateur Radio Guy" uses a surplus microphone stand, some stiff copper wire, and his UV5r 2 m/ 70 cm hand-held transceiver.  He calls this homebrew project "really cheap and really simple..."  Why not make one of these antennas for the ARRL Field Day?  This is an easy way to get points and experience the thrill of working Amateur/Ham Radio Satellites.
